Deer fly causes car crash and power outage

HUNTSVILLE, Ont. - A deer fly that flew into a truck in Huntsville, Ont., and got behind the driver's glasses caused more than just an itch this week.

Provincial police Const. Harry Rawluk says the pest startled the driver, causing him to lose control of his vehicle and drive into a hydro pole.

The crash knocked out wires and ended up causing a power outage that left about a quarter of the town in the dark.

Rawluk says police knew that pesky flies were common in the area, but they didn't realize just how bad they could be.

The driver was taken to hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.

Neither the fly nor the driver are facing any charges.

Deputies find alligator during drug bust

BUCKLEY, Wash. - Pierce County sheriff's deputies were startled when they entered a house near here during a drug bust and found- an alligator.

"It's alarming in that it's big enough and its mouth looked big enough, that if it were to bite it would definitely do some serious damage," sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer said of the 4-foot-long alligator.

Sheriff's officers said they believed the alligator belonged to one of two men arrested in Friday's raid. He will also face investigation for illegal possession of an exotic animal as well as drug allegations.

As for the alligator, deputies contacted animal services, which turned it over to an animal rescue group called Predators of the Heart. A rescue group representative said the alligator was in good condition.

Truck spills 40 tons of cow intestines

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - About 40 tons of cow intestines and bones spilled onto a major highway after a truck driver became distracted by his digital music player and his semitrailer tipped over, officials said.

Authorities closed parts of Interstate 43 for about two hours Thursday while the beef byproduct was cleaned up, said sheriff's Sgt. Blaine Spicer.

The accident happened in the town of Mosel when 25-year-old Ryan Engle's truck veered off the road as he adjusted his MP3 player, Spicer said.

Engle, of Kenosha, was cited for inattentive driving and taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Spicer said.

The truck had to be towed from the scene. It is owned by Birchwood Transport of Kenosha.

--Would be able to search by topic, type of code, poster...

4. Make links to types different types of code. (easy)
--Make a script that will get the latest posts from a certain type of code.

5. Stop bots from rating the scripts. (easy - I think!)
-- Search engines go to every link they find, and thus rate one script 8 times, leaving an average of 4.5. They do that to this blog too. Arrrggghhh!
